Geraldine "Jerry" Lindell Memorial Scholarship

    GERALDINE "JERRY" LINDELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Geraldine “Jerry” Lindell Memorial Scholarship was established in February 2011.

Geraldine “Jerry” Lindell, the wife and business partner of National Law Enforcement Training Center Founder James Lindell, passed suddenly on January 01, 2011. Jerry was the matriarch of the NLETC and dedicated the majority of her time and effort to supporting the Organization’s Mission to deliver quality training to law enforcement, military, corrections and security personnel. Jerry was a life-long learner and as a former educator, was deeply involved with the curriculum development and publication of numerous law enforcement texts.

Her passing left a tremendous void in the NLETC Organization. Her passion and dedication to the law enforcement training community inspired the establishment of the scholarship to provide funding for training to law enforcement instructors who cannot afford to attend the National Law Enforcement Training Center Reasonable Use of Force Conference.

The Annual Conference hosted by the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department is held during the third week of July. The Scholarship will pay all travel and tuition costs associated with Trainer Certification in the NLETC Systems.

The NLETC is NOW accepting applications for the 2012 Memorial Scholarship.
