Inman, Brad

Brad Inman has been in law enforcement since 1979 and a Deputy Sheriff with the Kent County Sheriff’s Department in Rhode Island since 1982. He is liaison between his department and area school systems.

Mr. Inman is well known throughout the Rhode Island area as an instructor in police defensive tactics and is recognized by the Rhode Island House of Representatives as a National defensive tactics instructor. He is nationally certified in several disciplines and serves on the Advisory Board of the National Law Enforcement Training Center. He is Rhode Island’s State Director for the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers and has been an instructor at many of ASLET’s international training seminars.

Mr. Inman has 35 years’ experience in the martial arts and holds the rank of 4th degree black belt in Yabe Jiu Jitsu. He is the Soke Dai of Yan Ki Yin Jiu Jitsu. Mr. Inman is a member of the Rhode Island Racing, Boxing and Kickboxing Athletic Commission and judges many professional bouts.
