Womack, Terry L.

Terry Womack is currently assigned as a Deputy Commander with the Illinois Police Bureau and as a Training Officer for AKAL Security, Inc. He served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps for 22 years, retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant. While serving as a Military Police Officer, he held a variety of positions from Field Training Officer to Operations Chief, including a tour of duty as a Drill Instructor at MRCD Parris Island, SC.

As an NLETC Trainer, he has provided training in several of the NLETC systems to a variety of students in the military, law enforcement and security communities. In addition, he is an Instructor Trainer for the Monadnock PR-24 Police Baton, Expandable Baton and Defensive Tactics System and is an NRA Certified Handgun Instructor

Member of the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET) and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA).
