The Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1051 et seq., was enacted by Congress in 1946. The Act provides for a national system of trademark registration and protects the owner of a federally registered mark against the use of similar marks if such use is likely to result in consumer confusion, or if the dilution of a famous mark is likely to occur.  LVNR® is federally recognized and any use by agencies, media or other sources without authorization is a violation of the Lanham Act and other US trade agreements.

Mission Statement:

The National Law Enforcement Training Center is dedicated to providing safe, effective and legally defensible tactics, training and certification to law enforcement, corrections, military and security organizations around the world.

Our newest Defensive Tactics Instructor Program was developed in 2021 and is a brand new approach to Defensive Tactics. It incorporates modern and realistic techniques based on a wide range of martial arts disciplines including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. These techniques are delivered in a scientifically based teaching methodology that enhances learning and retention. We are in a new era, where now Officers are not just concerned with taking control of a suspect, but also defending themselves against assault. These issues are addressed in this program. The program is comprised of 3 days of essential techniques.

The Core Essentials Program will train the
Defensive Tactics Instructor in the following areas:

Joint Locks, Common attacks against Officers including strikes and standing grappling, Body Lock and Joint Lock Takedowns, Transitions to Handcuffing, and compliant and non compliant Handcuffing Techniques.

Introduced in 2022
