Fundamental Defensive Tactics Instructor
 

5-Day Program
 

This 5-day, 40-hour Missouri P.O.S.T approved Instructor Program which will result in a Defensive Tactics Instructor having a base understanding of what we consider the Core Essentials of Instruction. The course includes Core Essentials (Control Tactics, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing and Introductory Ground) as well as an Emergency Ground Survival 1 course that gets an instructor ready to teach their officers how to survive on the ground with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. On Friday the officer will have their choice of electives from either Straight Baton or LVNR.


Course Length: Five 8-hour work days (1 hour lunch)
Equipment needed: Casual or athletic clothing, footwear, and handcuffs.
