Emergency Gun & Knife System

2027

The system new in 2027 and will debut at the 2027 Winter Conference in Sikeston, MO. This system will center on in-holster weapons retention from our full-day Weapons Retention and Disarming Course as well as the two-main knife responses from our full Knife Defense & Disarming Course. The system is designed to get the new Defensive Tactics instructor up and running quicker by tackling the core common attacks from both systems in one fundamental course.

All new Weapons Retention course for 2026!

All new Knife Defense course for 2026!

If you do not have a training weapon that fits your duty belt, contact us prior to training to see what possible arrangements may be necessary.  We can recommend vendors for training equipment or we may need to loan you a training gun and holster for completion of the course.

8-Hour Instructors Course
Prerequisite: Core Essentials OR Approval of NLETC with comparable training.
*

* Note: Core Essentials is recommended as it has instructor development aspects to it as well as fundamental 'core' techniques, stances and other aspects that are within every single NLETC course.  For course cohesion, understanding things such as power stance, force efficiency and other concepts which are taught in Core Essentials allows us to decrease instructor certification times within other courses. Should instructors wish to not take Core Essentials and take other elective courses such as Handgun Long Gun Retention and Disarming, the course may need to be longer than the standard 8-hour course. A Training Board Member will need to handle these on a case by case basis.

Feb 8-12 - SE Missouri Conference - Sikeston, MO - 5-day $800 (Details Pending - Sign-Up Coming Soon)
