Fundamental Defensive Tactics Instructor
 

5-Day Program
 

This 5-day, 40-hour Missouri P.O.S.T approved Instructor Program which will result in a Defensive Tactics Instructor having a base understanding of what we consider the Core Essentials of Instruction. The course includes Core Essentials (Control Tactics, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing and Introductory Ground) as well as an Emergency Ground Survival 1 course that gets an instructor ready to teach their officers how to survive on the ground with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. There will be additional elective courses available on Thursday and Friday which will be announced later. The Thursday and Friday courses will also be available individually if the first 3-Day Core Essentials is not possible due to scheduling or they applicant is already certified in those courses. 


Course Length: Five 8-hour work days (1 hour lunch)
Equipment needed: Casual or athletic clothing, footwear, and handcuffs.

5-day Course: $900.00
Single Day Rate for Elective: $180

Requirements:

Mat shoes or socks on mats.

The NLETC was incorporated in 1981. The Company was reorganized as a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit corporation in 2007.  The NLETC is currently served by an Executive Board of Directors.
